Estamos encantados de organizar una mañana de descubrimiento de ciencia y tecnología en Buenos Aires con Stanley Black & Decker!
¡Reuniendo a 50 niñas entre 11 y 15 años de diversas comunidades y orígenes, nuestro objetivo es demostrar el vínculo entre CTIM y todo lo que nos rodea! Desde la robótica y la programación, a la densidad y la extracción de ADN, las niñas tendrán la oportunidad de explorar actividades científicas prácticas, al mismo tiempo que destacar la tecnología y la innovación por las que SBD es renombrado.

¿Cuándo? Sábado, 1 de diciembre, 2018 entre 9 a.m. - 13 p.m.
¿Qué? Invitamos a 50 niñas de entre 11 y 15 años de las comunidades locales para que se unan a nosotros en una mañana de descubrimiento de ciencia y tecnología.
Cómo? Contaremos con profesionales modelo, para a dirigir talleres prácticos de 45 minutos que muestran el enlace a los temas CTIM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, y Matemáticas) con todo lo que nos rodea. Cada estudiante tendrá la oportunidad de experimentar 2 talleres durante la mañana; con aproximadamente 15 niñas por taller a la vez.

María Ines Agresti is a Stanley Black & Decker employee and Women’s Network Argentina local Chapter lead. She has 2 young daughters who encourages her to be involved in favor of women´s rights. She participates in other organizations for Women’s benefit like Vital Voices or W20. She is an accountant and likes Maths a lot, having the crazy idea that numbers can talk.

Analía is a Stanley Black & Decker employee and participates actively in Women Network Argentina. She is also member of Lean In Latam, a community of women that are professionals and entrepreneurs that search the empowerment of women. The birth of her daughter made her question about equality of opportunities for the future generations of women. Last summer Analía and her husband gave her 3 years old daughter, hand tools as a present.
SBD Buenos Aires
Loredana is our Venezuelan numbers geek who is able to learn first someone’s phone number or date of birth than the actual name. She is also an avid traveller who loves to meet people from all around the globe because of her interest on how people could do simple daily life so different from one place to another…specially eating given her Italian family background! She was living in Brussels when g4g was getting started and always stayed around the organization to help in any possible way ( even just to cheer-up for the great success stories it has had). Even though her personal /career path did not guided her straight into Engineering or science studies as she would loved to, she has followed numbers and STEM path through Finance and Project Management within several multinationals in the Technology, Telecom and Engineering industries. Being a witness during her work life of the need for diversity initiatives including more girls into STEM subjects, and now mother of a little girl, she is currently supporting g4g her knowledge and passion for global projects and exposure to amazing people/girls from around the world.

Having grown up wanting to be Indiana Jones, Alexaundra loves to find new ways to combine her passions for science, history, languages and world travel. She has a Master's degree in European Studies, co-taught an after school science program at ISB, and currently loves being a member of the g4g headquarter team!
