Greenlight for girls (g4g) verwelkomt samen met Stanley Black & Decker and 30 jongens en meisjes van 11-15 om zich te laten inspireren door Wetenschap, Technologie, Bouwkunde en Wiskunde (STEM) in de Stanley Black & Decker faciliteiten in Tessenderlo. Ze zullen de kans krijgen om te leren van geweldige STEM-rolmodellen, een exclusieve tour in het magazijn maken & de ochtend met ingenieurs en technici doorbrengen.

We are thrilled to partner up with Stanley Black & Decker, a leading manufacturer of industrial tools and household hardware company, once more to launch a g4g day @work in Tessenderlo, Belgium!
Welcoming 30 kids aged 11-15, kids will spend the morning engaged in hands-on workshops in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). They will have the opportunity to learn from amazing STEM role-models, have an exclusive visit of the warehouse & spend the morning with engineers and technicians!

Wat? We verwelkomen 30 jongens en meisjes van 11-15 jaar uit de SBD werknemersgemeenschap om samen met ons een ochtend vol interactieve en hands-on activiteiten rond wetenschap, technologie, bouwkunde en wiskunde, met een nadruk op de technologie waar SBD bekend om staat!
Hoe? We nodigen professionele rolmodellen uit om workshops die 45-60 minuten duren te leiden die de link tussen alledaagse wetenschap en technologie onthullen, met 10 – 12 kinderen per workshop. De kinderen zullen de kans krijgen om twee workshops en een rondleiding van het warenhuis te ervaren in de loop van de ochtend.

Déborah is a Master student in Communications at the VUB. She loves to travel and explore new cultures. She’s passionate about music, especially singing. There are so many things she still wants to learn in her life, from learning a few more languages, to learning to play a few more instruments, to learning to code. Luckily at G4g, she is learning lots of new things.

When she is not posting/youtubing/instagraming or hashtaging, Marie is usually in front of her sewing machine. Or learning how to do aerial hoop. Or taking a webinar on cyber security! She visited 20 countries in the world so far and doesn't plan to stop before she saw them all. An ecofriendly advocate she firmly believes that the children will be the ones to save our planet and she can't wait to see them succeed

Lucy Reynaud is an Aussie expat married to a fabulous Frenchman and has 3 young children who were each born in different countries. She’s an all or nothing girl, therefore most likely to be found either out training for a half marathon… or lazing around reading her third book this week. She is a Gemmologist and Diamond Grader by profession, a total nerd, and likes to think of herself as a semi-professional dumpling & massage tester too.
