On June 22, 2022…

This is the big moment we have been waiting for! Join us to honour the winners and all the young inventors from Solvay Global Hackathon. Isn't it exciting!

We invite you to attend our g4g special broadcast to celebrate and give recognition to our young female STEM inventors. This broadcast is a moment to bring together the winners, all the participants and our incredible STEM role models from the Solvay Global Hackathon in an informal conversation, and to learn more about our young inventors’ inventions.

This hour-long broadcast is intended to complement the experience of the Solvay Global Hackathon by meeting exceptional role models, sharing in the spirit of invention and innovation, and connecting girls to the work that Solvay is doing to encourage STEM learning.

Join us in celebrating our young female STEM explorers and their inventions!

What: Our 23rd broadcast episode will gather inspiring STEM role models and participants from our Solvay Global Hackathon from across the globe to share their experiences and celebrate the event.

When: 22 June 2pm CET. The broadcast will last an hour.

Where: This live broadcast will take place on the platform Zoom. Please be reassured that we are utilizing Zoom’s safety functions and that we will be monitoring online safety during the broadcast by having a Safety Officer as part of our dedicated behind-the-scenes team.

Why: From our own Impact studies, we know that one thing is key to inspiring girls to pursue STEM subjects – and that is, to provide a community of role models. Tailored to our older g4g students who are determining what studies to pursue in university, our broadcasts “Science, you had me at hello® connect female scientists and STEM leaders to the next generation of potential engineers, scientists and curiosity-filled young women. They are designed to encourage you to think about what inspires you, to begin to contemplate your purpose and to create some ideas on how you can get there.
