When she is not posting/youtubing/instagraming or hashtaging, Marie is usually in front of her sewing machine. Or learning how to do aerial hoop. Or taking a webinar on cyber security! She visited 20 countries in the world so far and doesn't plan to stop before she saw them all. An ecofriendly advocate she firmly believes that the children will be the ones to save our planet and she can't wait to see them succeed.

2018

g4g and Goa Sudharop worked together for the second time for the 2018 g4g Day @San Francisco Bay Area, USA! On April 28, 80 girls aged 10 – 15 came for a day filled with fun interactive workshops showing the link between STEM and daily life while meeting inspiring STEM-role models. A huge huge thank you to all the 40 volunteers who got up early and were not shy in energy and bright ideas to make this event incredibly fun! One of our favorite moments? When girls discovered biochemistry by creating their own personalized herbal spritz to prevent acne!

You can find the photo album of the event here!

2016

On August 13th, g4g launched the first g4g Day @San Francisco Bay Area. 100 girls from the local community came together to be inspired by interactive STEM workshops hosted by Goa Sudharop and West Contra Costa Salesian Boys & Girls Club in Richmond, California! Special guest speaker & CFO of Golden State Warriors, Jennifer Cabalquinto, kicked things off with a keynote speech and from there the day was engaging and inspirational. The girls had an incredible time as they discovered the science & biochemistry of beauty & skin care, created their own DNA necklaces, engineered cardboard prototypes of boats, identified fingerprints CSI-style, experienced robotics, coded with Google's Made with Code and learned all about the human brain and climate change with invasive species!

Congratulations to the girls, volunteers and supporters who made this special launch a reality! Special thank you to our core team, especially Ria Davis and Acaria Almeida, the event's Project Leaders and key representatives of Goa Sudharop - we couldn't have done it without you!
